Technology Training can be provided by IT Learning and Development (ITLD) Whether you are Penn State faculty, staff, or students, we have the technology training solutions to best suit your needs. For software-specific training, consult the appropriate section of the Software page.

IT Service Desk

The IT service desk provides general technology troubleshooting and help with such services as Penn State Access Accounts, Canvas, and more to Penn State students from all campuses. You can reach the IT Service Desk for 24/7 technology support through live chat or by emailing ITservicedesk@psu.edu or calling 814-865-HELP (4357). Virtual face-to-face assistance is also available via Zoom Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tech Tutors and Tech TAs

The Tech Tutors and Tech TAs site can connect you with technology help and support, both in and out of the classroom.

Tech Tutors offer a personalized learning experience and tech help designed to support all Penn State students, faculty, and staff to accomplish their teaching and learning goals.

Tech TAs provide technology support during synchronous classes in Zoom by helping faculty members to navigate within Zoom, managing participants, and processing the class recording.
