Join attorney Katherine Allen, Office of General Council, and Ann Clements, Assistant Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs – Faculty Development, for an overview of Penn State’s Academic Freedom policy (AC64) and a discussion of cases in which academic freedom and free speech intersect in Penn State courses. The discussion will also explore instructor questions about whether there are limits on free speech in class, as well as what is encouraged or allowed in response to in-class offensive speech.
